Edited by LibertarianCajun: 6/27/2016 1:44:44 PMI'm gonna bite the b8, your hand is not positioned at a perfect 180 degree angle, so when you drop the slinky, the top of the slinky is already tipped to the side. Then gravity pushes down on it, gravity does not change the direction the slinky falls, your hand's positioning did.
