If you joined a Trials match via LFG and you play with a cheating player, you're guilty by association because you won and gained a tangible benefit through someone else cheating. That's explained on a Help article. About you leaving and losing Passage Coins, Bungie cannot restore items on characters for any reason. That's also explained on a Help article. And as for Ninjas brown-nosing, I fail to see how that was a relevant comment.
