Well, I highly doubt Bungie nerfs everything based solely off what we complain about although it might seem that way. I do think they track a lot and our whines probably go along with their numbers quite often.
Look... whining is annoying but it is criticism and all forms of criticism challenge Bungie to do their job and I'm sure that's what they'd prefer rather than us all shutting up and putting up with the best gun/ability/super or whatever. Balance is a difficult task for a game with so many paths and combinations you can customize to your liking. Bungie wants us to voice our opinions... even the whiny ones...

Yes yes they do. Warlocks storm caller. I looked at every nerf post for that it 92% hunters. Same with sunbreaker bungie is turning to a call of duty franchise. "Listen to the whiny six year olds that'll make money"

And maybe it makes sense with the additional data they collect, some of the shit they do just doesn't make sense. And sometimes people on here have legitimate criticism, but most the time...no. I always viewed criticism as involving critical thinking, which is what alot of people lack. It's either influenced by rage over something they got killed by, or rage do to their favorite class being nerfed, so they pick out something as retribution. And that type of criticism, I feel helps no one.

Mmmm I feel like if there's enough salt towards the same thing over and over they try to find a reason for it. I feel like nerfs made that no one understands is based off info only Bungie has and a vision they wish to progress, they want to see all abilities having viability and they choose to nerf the strong ones instead of buff the weak, I don't agree with this but I feel like people are mistaking the blame on whining in the forums. I also think Bungie isn't [i]that[/i] stupid when is comes to crybabies and the really silly whines are probably often laughed at. "You won 8 games in 24 minutes?" - Cozmo
