So just did the nightfall and trickle (slower ability charge) seemed to eliminate the catapult (faster grenades) - so what's the point of doing this combination? Why not just do trickle?
I thought at least the grenade charge time would be normal vs. fast as it is with catapult but it was extremely slow, even running life steel, hunger and embrace the void on my warlock. Is this a glitch?

Why even do the nightfall? Omnigul was worth it, but other than that it's just a waste of time for a 330 class item or ghost. The reputation you get can be gotten just as fast running heroic strikes. It's a useless activity unless you are going for the strike specific drop.

Bungie should really just eliminate Trickle altogether. It doesn't make the game more challenging, it just makes it less [b]fun.[/b] Hell, Bungie nerfed Sunsingers because they were frustrating to play against, so why don't they apply that same concept to Trickle and just get rid of it. There's already ways to counter it in a way but no one likes Trickle and it steers people away from those activities that have that modifier on.

I immediately deem something unplayable if I see it has that modifier. Trickle is the WORST thing in the game(from a PvE standpoint).

Even with catapult, trickle makes your nade slower than normal. I absolutely hate trickle. The only modifier that reduces fun

The other two modifiers were Small arms and Airborne... but then Bunghole felt like being pricks and switched two good modifiers to one god awful one that cancels out the good one entirely. Seriously the modifiers were small arms, airborne, epic, and matchgame... but I guess Bunghole figured we'd farm for Imago Loops so they switched the modifiers so that everything is stacked against us so we don't farm for a good gun.

agreed, both modifiers should just cancel out and grendades recharge at its normal rate... makes no sense to nullify catapult

Could be a bug. Might not be. Most of those modifiers last I checked are pulled at random from a designated list. If both of those landed? Then maybe it's just a glitch or intended to be that way. Either way, I've not done nightfall primarily because that nightfall strike will take forever and IB is in town. Best dedicate more time to that then a 30 minute nightfall strike run for three characters.

Best guess is they planned on catapult countering trickle so you could still use your grenades but not supers and melee. Unfortunately it seems trickle supercedes everything else.

I think its a bug in the nightfall. I think that its ment to be trickle instead of catapult, also some friends did the raid there modifiers say Heroic Warpriest Golgroth So im going with its more likely a bug

Trickle increases cooldown to like 25% of normal speed, and catapult decreases cooldown by about 50%, so add that together and it brings it to about 25% longer cooldown.

Your melee and super charge slowly but your grenades do not. The modifiers are randomly rolled, bungie only changes them in drastic situations just like Xur.
