The portal is stilled, the patterns of energy holding it open clearly seen. The soldiers are frozen as well, their eyes unseeing. He walks up to one, pulling the rifle from his hands and slips somehow into one of the pockets on his labcoat. He does the same to the rest of the soldiers, then looks up, frowning at the helicopter still frozen above him* [i]That could be a problem....[/i] *He looks down at the gravel path, and gets an idea. Picking up a rock he tosses it at the engine, but before it enters the air intake he snaps his fingers, allowing time to flow again. The soldiers look about, startled as their weapons are now gone. The helicopter's engine begins to pour smoke, and the helicopter tilts and falls at an angle into the ground. Valeyard looks at the soldiers with a patronizing glare* [i]Now, explain yourselves before I have to do something drastic.[/i]
