Just a question. Why shouldn't you steal?
Apparently, only about 10% of the population will come up with some sort of abstract moral reasoning to explain why we shouldn't steal. The rest will say something akin to, "Because we get in trouble," or, "Because it's against the law."
Why shouldn't you steal?
Edit: I'm an ardent supporter of property rights. I'm not implying that that theft is moral.

Relationships between humans are built on trust. Stealing something from someone else ruins that trust, therefore damaging that relationship. If you stole stuff from people, no one would trust you or want to be associated with you which would lessen your chance of survival.
