Just a question. Why shouldn't you steal?
Apparently, only about 10% of the population will come up with some sort of abstract moral reasoning to explain why we shouldn't steal. The rest will say something akin to, "Because we get in trouble," or, "Because it's against the law."
Why shouldn't you steal?
Edit: I'm an ardent supporter of property rights. I'm not implying that that theft is moral.

Laws exist for a reason. We give up some freedoms to live a political society where we can be safe. Lockes second treatise on civil government explains that. Also, I believe that one should earn what he has, and not take what isn't earned or receive hand outs for not working.
