Ariel stepped inside the shower, and opened the flow of water.
The warm water rushed down on her tall body, making her release a long, pleasant sigh.
"Well there's the highlight of my day..."
Being a (literal) daughter of the Emperor can be very difficult at times. Especially when you live surrounded by sisters of battle.
That's why Ariel lives in the highest summits of the Metropolitan world known as Ophelia VII. Now, don't go thinking Ariel is a hermit, not at all. She very often travels the galaxy, sticking mostly to imperial worlds of course. Even though she gets adventurous sometimes. She just tends to avoid the streets of Ophelia, due to them being filled with crazed, overzealous worshippers of the "God" Emperor. She doesn't live there by choice, but she makes the most of it still.
So, back to our hero.
Ariel, in all of her primarch-sized glory, stood in the shower, letting the warm water flow on her body. She took the time to clean herself up nicely, wash her hair and...
With her eyes closed, she couldn't tell what happened. But suddenly, the water had stopped.
"Hey! Who turned off the water?!"
She opened her eyes, frustrated, as her shampooed hair was still bubbling with the, well, shampoo. When she opened her eyes, she saw that she wasn't in the shower anymore. In a fit of panick, she covered her exposed parts. Luckily for her, her oversized towel had come with her to the bloodwrath. Rapidly, she wrapped herself in the towel.
"Well this is JUST perfect! As if the day couldn't get any worse!"
She crossed her arms, flicking her black, soaped hair backwards so it wouldn't drip all over her face. She let out a long sigh.
"Might as well try to find out where I am... or at least find some damned clothes!"
And so, the Cynical daughter of the Emperor, Ariel, set off into the bloodwrath in the search of answers. Or denim.

"There are a few Primarchs here..... What did your friends look like?"
-
"My pals, you mean? Eh, I call them friends but... that's a stretch. Paladins of the Princess, they call 'em. Sisters of battle, like you, but only the best. They're a bit like my bodyguards."
-
"Oh, nevermind then. I haven't seen anyone like that. And if how I'm thinking about this is correct, they've been modified to be stronger. But we only have normal Sisters of Battle around here."
-
"Well, maybe they'll pop up. Would be nice."
-
"Yup, and if they don't, maybe you can recruit some from who we have here."
-
"Erm.... I'm not sure that would work very well. Let's just say the Paladin's armoury is very special."
-
"Oh, nevermind then. Anyway, we should almost be there."
-
"Sweet!" She smiles. "As long as I get a nice warm bed..."
-
"There should be plenty of them around."
-
"Good... well, at least I have my gear now."
-
"Yup.. And I really need a massage, stupid Bloodletter cramped up my muscles..."
-
"Well, I'm sure your little Agnes can take care of that." She giggles. "I wish I had a girlfriend too. A little lady for myself to be intimate with and all..."
-
"Maybe you'll find one... There's plenty of people around, you're bound to find someone you'll fall in love with..."
-
"Oh, I dunno. I mean, I've had a few adventures here and there, but otherwise, I don't know. It's hard to find good commitment when you're the daughter of an immortal crazy wizard."
-
"You can say that again... In truth, I never bought into the whole god Emperor thing.... Mostly because I'm not truly from this plane of existence..."
-
"But you're a sister of battle. Isn't that... like, your one and only reason to live?"
-
Lupa softly laughs. "If that was my only reason to live, then I guess I wouldn't have that much of a life."
-
"You don't say... but you never heard me say it. My pals would really feel bad if they knew I said that."
-
"I can see why..." Lupa rubs behind one of her ears. "I guess I've never have been one for things like that... I mostly joined the sisters for a sense of purpose, and I found one despite it being highly religious..."
-
"Well, whatever floats your boat, Lupes. Just be happy in what you do." She smiles. "We there yet?"
-
"Yup.." They walk through the gates of the General Quarters, hundreds of people walking around and going about their business.
-
"Phew! Glad I'm not naked anymore!" She said, looking at the masses of people. "Wow, you guys are really having a party in here, eh?"
-
"Well this is the only safe place on the ship..."
-
"And it's pretty big. Nice!" She walks in with her. "Hope there are some shops around..."
-
"There are..." Lupa softly yawns.
