Ariel pulls out her equipment. A legendary heavy bolter of unique craftsmanship was the first item she took. It was coloured and marked with the symbols of the Blood Angels. It was covered in seals of purity, it must have been an old weapon. Yet it didn't look a day old.
Another piece of equally stunning gear was a strange plasma/grav gun combi, crafted in white and gold colours.
Then was the last bit of gear she had. And this one was particular above all else.
It was a strange combination of a straight spear and a saw, the latter resting atop the spear, like some sort of staff handle. It was golden and light green, adorned by symbols of the Salamanders. On it's handle was a small scripture, written by Vulkan himself. Ariel made the whirligig saw roar as it spun faster than any chainsword, flames bursting all over the blade.

"Well then, can you keep that horror moving looking saw away from me? I rather not lose my eyebrows."

She laughs. "What? Don't tell me you're afraid of a little spinning spikey. And besides, you're a sister of battle. Don't you guys bathe in fire like, every tuesday or something?"

"You have a point there, but still, I'm quite scared of weapons I've never seen before."

"This is old. Very old. Vulkie himself gave it to me before he... before he left. You won't see anything like it nowadays."

"Alright... But I'm guessing it's extremely powerful."

"It's a sawblade that spits fire. You're damn right it's powerful!" She puts her hand down for Lupa. "Gimme five, Lupes!"

[b]Lupa high fives her, a small smile on her face.[/b] "Wanna head to the General quarters now?"

"Sure thing, sistah!" She grabs her plasma gun in her right hand, wielding the saw in her left hand.

[b]Lupa leads the way to the General Quarters.[/b] "Now I hope you don't mind Xenos, because there's quite a few in the area."

"Hey, as long as they don't mind me, they won't end up with mind bullets in their faces."

"My pals, you mean? Eh, I call them friends but... that's a stretch. Paladins of the Princess, they call 'em. Sisters of battle, like you, but only the best. They're a bit like my bodyguards."

"Oh, nevermind then. I haven't seen anyone like that. And if how I'm thinking about this is correct, they've been modified to be stronger. But we only have normal Sisters of Battle around here."

"Well, maybe they'll pop up. Would be nice."

"Yup, and if they don't, maybe you can recruit some from who we have here."

"Erm.... I'm not sure that would work very well. Let's just say the Paladin's armoury is very special."

"Oh, nevermind then. Anyway, we should almost be there."

"Sweet!" She smiles. "As long as I get a nice warm bed..."

"There should be plenty of them around."

"Good... well, at least I have my gear now."

"Yup.. And I really need a massage, stupid Bloodletter cramped up my muscles..."

"Well, I'm sure your little Agnes can take care of that." She giggles. "I wish I had a girlfriend too. A little lady for myself to be intimate with and all..."
