As someone, and one of many, who completed the Y2 MoT before they were even released, I've got to say that it hasn't seemed as nearly a big a challenge as those MoT in year one.
No, it is not because it is easier, IMO this year's MoT were much more challenging than before but as the game has become larger and more content was released, moving from Year One to Year Two in Destiny has been more fun than ever but less challenging than when you start but very fun none the less. The more I play Destiny it seems the more I want to continue playing it!
For those who have completed the MoT already in Destiny, Congratulations! And to those of us who have been here since the beginning and have done both MoT, cheers to longevity!
For those who haven't done all the MoT yet this year, keep on working towards those goals, even if (to no one in particular *cough*) you lost your mic because you never thought you'd use it so you cant do the raid and are too lazy to find all the fragments, you'll get there!
To Destiny and its salty Community,
Your lord and savior, The Architects

Edited by DizzyDog85: 7/8/2016 9:19:28 PMI had them done when it was released. The things on the list were time consuming and challenging alike, each in their own way. However, the difference in the MoT from Year 1 to now is the amount of content. Year 1 featured 3 storylines, 2 hard raids, 1 Skola's PoE, golden chests, 100 Crucible victories, 50 (?) Public Events and reaching max level. Year 2 only features 1 (full) story, 2 additional story missions, one hard raid, one run through of CoE, which is I no way as hard as Skolas, the Mountaintop quest, 50 calcified fragments, an exotic sword and something else I'm forgetting. Most of year 2 MoT are a little contrived. Making the sword quest and the 2 April Update missions were kind of meh at best. What they SHOULD have done, was bring back events from the year for 2 months and say, "Get S Class License in SRL." as an example. TL;DR: There wasn't enough content in Year 2 to make a solid MoT and IMO, they should have brought back and incorporated events like SRL.
