Possible way to make defender titan better in PVP.

Make it so when a defender titan activates their bubble they get 3 or 4 overshields and a slight speed boost. This could be great in pvp.

  • The problem is that Defender is a support-oriented subclass. If you buff it to the point that a solo Defender is balanced with other subclasses, then a Defender with a coordinated fireteam will be near-unstoppable. They're potentially scary-strong now: imagine having six Guardians charge out of a bubble with Weapons of Light active: two-hit kills with a Scout. One-hit body snipes. Most pulse rifles generate two-burst kills. See the problem?

  • I agree with a defender buff but a bunch of invincible titans (I'm a titan myself) on a control zone a salvage zone or the overtime point in trials

  • I wouldn't mind a speed boost. But 3-4 over shields are a bit overkill.

  • I think it would be funny if there was an exotic where popping a bubble on an enemy sends them flying, like being bashed by a centurion. The pvp videos would be hilarious, especially when someone plays control and gets a 6 man splat.

  • I disagree, maybe activate force barrier upon activation, using whatever perks you have selected in your subclass. I think that would be the option that makes the most sense using your idea

  • Three or four over shields is way too much, but I think they should have an over shield that regenerates automatically when they're not taking damage.

  • 3-4 over shields with a speed buff might be the way to break them
