Correct me if I'm wrong but I hear that DNC rules state the runner up must endorse the presumptive nominee or risk voiding their own collected delegates and therefore losing their spot at the convention. Bernie already knows he lost the Dem nomination, but I have no doubts he wants to convay his message at the convention itself. Continue to push the platform as much as he can so to speak. Personally I think it's useless talking to such deaf ears among the DNC but yknow what I appreciate the effort he's done.
