Unlike other slayer supers in this game, Sunbreaker requires predicting your targets movements and precise throws in order to score kills most of the time, unless someone is directly next to you or you suncharge them. What I don't understand is how people continue to survive direct hammer explosions, which still happens far too frequently after this past balance patch increased the explosion radius, which was supposed to fix the problem. This subclass is still built around its super, and it is far too inconsistent to use most of the time compared to striker. The attached video is a clip where a hunter gets directly hit by a hammer and survives long enough such that I have to trade my life for his instead of moving on to a better position and surviving. They kill pretty much 90% of the time, you do realize your super can kill a blade dancer with 1 hammer from a distance while that opposing blade dancer has to land 2 swings on you while up close right? Not counting that you can give yourself an overshield just by throwing a hammer at your feet and you can heal after killing them with literally any of your abilities. And again all of this is at a distance. I think your subclass doesn't need a buff at all.

Now this is a story all about how My life got flipped turned upside down And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air In west Philadelphia born and raised On the playground is where I spent most of my days Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool And all shootin' some b-ball outside of the school When a couple of guys who were up to no good Started makin' trouble in my neighborhood I got in one little fight and my mom got scared And said you're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air I begged and pleaded with her day after day But she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket Put my walkman on and said I might as well kick it First class yo this is bad Drinkin' orange juice out of a champagne glass Is this what the people of Bel-Air live like Hmmm this might be all right But wait I hear they're prissy, bourgeois, and all that Is this the type of place that they just send this cool cat? I don't think so I'll see when I get there I hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel-Air Well uh the plane landed and when I came out There was a dude looked like a cop standin' there with my name out I ain't tryin' to get arrested yet I just got here I sprang with the quickness like lightning disappeared I whistled for a cab and when it came near The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror If anything I could say that this cab was rare But I thought "Nah forget it, yo homes to Bel-Air!" I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 And I yelled to the cabbie yo homes smell ya later Looked at my kingdom I was finally there To sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air

This game.. is not balanced at all.
-
Sunbreakers already kill me, even if the hammer doesn't hit me. Explain.
-
It hurt watching that. I kept waiting for the score from your kills to show up, but they never did...
-
See the thing is in the last patch they know they over Nerfed it and now they're actually saying some about it I mean The buffs we're good what I think it needs Waymore buffs than that all sunbreaker mains I would agree with me
-
Actually they shouldn't ;)
-
The hammer proximity-detonated above them while they were dropping down. I main a titan and I've never had a direct hit not instant kill someone unless is was a radiance warlock, arc blade, or another sunbreaker mid-super.
-
strange. Hunter above the train didn't get killed withdirect hit. Probably lag?
-
You didn't hit him you tried to bump rush and make a cool clip. No aiming and no pausing to ensure accuracy. You just want views or something.
-
It didn't hit target in that video at all though. Hammer hit the middle of the tube.

I always thought sunbreakers were op. I just maxed out my striker build so I figured I'd work on my sunbreaker. Boy was I wrong. Lol hit detection sucks.
-
I think lag is the culprit. Hammers have felt pretty crispy since the last buff (which is still less than where they started).

Edited by PopsAutismo: 7/21/2016 1:49:59 AMIf I can kill a vulnerable Bladedancer in his Super, I should be able to kill the other roaming Supers if I play well. Also, why use Hammers when you can try to figure out if anything can survive this? https://youtu.be/GgD7SPqACGQ
-
Same, i suncharge a sunsinger it just push him back without taking damage
-
I hope that is lag. This is why sunbreaker is barely usable
-
Run the ability where you can melee with the hammer. Cancels any super and has long distance as well.

Edited by Benzene21: 7/20/2016 7:57:51 PMDirect hit? Please. If it happens, it was the lag, not the super.
