LATENCY ISSUES had something to do with destiny's servers and the sniper/snipee's internet connection. The guy who shot you killed you before you even went behind cover but it didn't show that he killed you right away because of the bad servers/internet connction.

Dude I have a feeling you don't get what I mean because you logic make zero sense if you pop out see a sniper an duct back an they get a shot off that is suppose 2 miss but they so.e how hit a piece of armor near your neck or shoulder while they are at full health that shouldn't kill or do much damage cause it wasn't a headshot
-
No. It is you who is not understanding. You pop out and they pull the trigger when you are out of cover. The game has no bullet travel time. It recognizes you were killed but because of lag it didn't register on your Xbox until you were behind cover. As for snipers taking no skill, well that is just a stupid comment made by a salty individual.

Umm I play PlayStation not xbox an you don't understand that that's not how it should be if your already behind cover an get killed by a sniper that you dodged before they even fired the sniper is broken (you see the sniper you quickly get. Behind cover before the guy shoots an you still die) that's what im trying 2 tell you an I was the shooter that got six people three weren't headshots they were shoulder shots or collerbone shots an the other three I shot after they were already threw a door everyone was green bar an there was no lagging in that match
-
The reticle has to be on the head for a headshot. If it looks like anything else it is because of latency. His head was there when you pulled the trigger.
-
Well whatever the guys I shot in the shoulder or collarbone it said head shot when I shot the ones that disappeared behind the wall it said headshot 5 seconds after I pulled the trigger so snipers take no skill an are broken
-
I understand what you are saying as it has happened to me before. I have also pulled the trigger when I was lined up directly on the dome and it stayed I missed. Again it has to do with lag.
