"Knowledge is a powerful thing"
Such a truer teaching has never been taught. The tech-priest mused as he observed the words of his mentor hung on the wall. He was surrounded by code; a pure and unrelenting logic seperated in a conglomerate of hexadecimal, binaric, and tirtiary coding floating about his persona hiding meanings and truths of life within.
Several series of stasis pods lined the walls each filled with a unique form of logic, a being born from a dead knowledge that transcended any work that any imperial or dark mechanicus could ever make. They were an untold multitude of creatures born for a master they would never meet or ever may know. That would be their greatest strength, the subtle absence of knowledge.
The tech priest smiled as the culmination of his work slept before him. He studied amoung the priests of mars until he grew bored of their regions dogma that blinded him. He was labeled a Dark Mechanicus and hunted like a dog would a rabbit for seeing the truth of science and physics, for merely suggesting that a human was not the ultimate life form, for understanding the truth of what needed to be done. Even the sons of Magnus balked at his work and yet here it was.
He absently held the Necron artifact at his hip. His works culmination all a success thanks to a chance encounter with a dying space marine. His body in particular floated in a stasis chamber somewhere in the room, after all he couldn't let him die yet. No the marine couldn't die without seeing the miricle about to be produced by an encounter of fate.
