If people get too out of hand with their comments just don't go back to your post. Ignore it. Once I comment I don't really read responses. People seem to get too upset nowadays especially now after the nonexistent Hunter nerf. Oh and shotguns did get nerfed. I'd rather go against shotguns than snipers. Now those people get annoying after awhile :) but hey it's a game you learn to ignore it and have fun.

Just get close enough for them to see you on the radar and wait. They should get impatient and try to rush you. Another alternative is to flush them out with a grenade. Vortex, pulse, or solar grenades are best for this in my opinion.

If you keep your head up in crucible, shotguns are a minimal threat. This includes not charging around corners.

I love shotguns, but I do hate when I get too aggressive and allow someone to catch me with a crouch/corner shot. I see that as a map awareness issue more than a shotgun issue.
