Because I know that someone on my team will go take Zone A and flip our spawn. EVERY -blam!-ING TIME. Even when we control both B and C, they will go take A.
And if the enemy starts taking C, causing the spawn to flip, the randoms won't do the smart thing and go fight to take it back. Hell no. Too much work. They'll go over to the unoccupied and undefended Zone A and proudly take it. Sometimes they'll dance, the morons. It never occurs to them that there's a REASON it's undefended: the other team is BEGGING YOU to go take it.
WILL YOU FOR THE LOVE OF CRAP STOP DOING THIS.
A Control match on Shores of Time, between 2 teams that both know what they're doing, will revolve around taking zones B and C. The only time ANYONE will take A is when Bravo takes it as their first zone. After that, there is NO reason whatsoever to ever see any announcement regarding Zone A. NONE. WHATSOEVER. I don't care if you lost all your zones; go take B or C. DON'T take A. It just makes things worse.

STOP IT. JUST STOP. DON'[T TAKE ZONE A.
My name is Dog of War and I approved this message.

This post needs to be sent to every idiot in destiny. Finally someone has said what we were all thinking. !!!
-
The better question is why isn't B flag closer to the center of the map instead of obviously closer to C. Then we don't have this completely ridiculous problem
-
I think the problem with this map isn't the people who are sent to play control in it, it's the people who designed such an imbalanced map to begin with. Just like blind watch.
-
I cringe when I see a Hunter knowing that Hunter is the most casual friendly class in the game and that player lacks any competitive skill.
-
I only cringe because I found a way to crossmap from outside spawn to B with a Nova Bomb. Won't take long for people to try to hit crossmaps on every map.

Edited by Nitey9: 7/25/2016 4:22:29 PMDuring IB our enemy spawned on A side and immediately ran to B to cap it at the start while we were getting C. I was so astonished I had to look at the roster to double check they weren't a fireteam. For a good 4-5 minutes nobody grabbed A and my heart was so happy as we battled back and forth between C and B. Then some idiot on our team decided to take the cursed cave, and it all went to hell from there. The enemy pitched their tents and got the campfire ready, and we couldn't come back from it.
-
My teams used to always lose if we spawned on A, but this iron banner I think everyone finally learned because I always win spawning on A after flipping
-
Ignoring A is fine, as long as your team controls at least one zone and is scoring more kills. But the minute the other team gets two zones, you have to work twice as hard just to break even. Yeah, that map needs to be a little more symmetrical. It's almost as bad as Blind Watch, that way.
-
I really wish the flags would move every time and not be in the same places. People have figured out all of the campy snipy spots on every map, especially during control. I hope this change is applied to D2.
-
I LOVE this map. I almost always do good. But yeah, spawn flippers tick me off. But it really is not just this map, it's all. Now the only time I agree with taking all is if our team is destroying the other. So my message to everyone is this: control two flags and hold them. Unless your team is obviously better.
-
Move the B point closer to A where the tunnel exit is.

Edited by Numero 7: 7/25/2016 4:07:03 PMGet a life Muted Btw, I have the Jovian Guard helmet 😂

But I want to control all the zones. It is pretty easy with everyone just running around. All the teams I'm on no one even noticed that the enemy has all the zones. Match goes from 12000 each to we lose 20000 to 13000 That fast.
-
Screw you people and your tactics! I WILL PROUDLY CHARGE IN WITH MY UNIVERSAL REMOTE AND NOVABOMB TO KILL EVERYTHING!
-
I take it just so they will take it back. Like all of them will come thundering and blazing in, and I die gloriously. But I spawn over by the ship and we reset. I actually wonder if one just camped the cave with a full fireteam, how would they do?
-
Can someone tell why c is better than a please.
-
Then get a fireteam
-
Get a fireteam then.
-
I always get lost looking to cap D
-
This regards all maps in crucible, don't flip the f@!?ing spawns
-
I hate when spawns flip... I'm like "We had two of them and we were winning, why did you have to be greedy and flip the spawns?" The only time I run to the opposite cap is if we're getting triple capped so my team can spawn together. I do, however, make it my duty to cap B every single time and not leave. B is the most highly contested zone on every map. Unless you're on Exodus Blue... You don't want C & B, you want A & B.
-
Cause they lik sniping. C gas better ambush spots for snipers
-
It's actually not a bad map but it kept coming up this IB. I mean, A LOT. At one point in time earlier this week, I believe I played it 6 times total, including 4 times in 5 matches. Utterly frustrating considering I didn't have a full team until the last time we played it, so we got our butts kicked 2 out of the first 3 times I played on the map. Overall, I just don't understand why the same maps keep popping up. Bungie has at least a dozen decent control maps, why are the same ones popping up over and over again?
-
They should remove this map from the Control rotation. More Drifter plz
-
I love Shores of Time for a map. But yes, it is lopsided.
-
I cringe on shores of time now because most people prefer to hold C and B (for obvious reasons), but if you do happen to spawn on the A side at the beginning someone should still go and cap that! Had a game where we spawned there and literally 2 minutes in we still did not have a control point because my whole team was trying and failing to take B.
