I personally feel that slow rate of fire auto rifles need a SLIGHT base damage buff. They simply cannot compete with scout rifles, hand cannons, or pulse rifles. They're to popular and statistics are way better, making auto rifles very, very outplayed. The usage of auto rifles are VERY LOW, and I would like to see all guns equal in PvP. Feel free to LEAVE A LIKE on this post, I would love to see what the majority of the community thinks :D. I really want Bungie to do a little something to auto rifles so they are viable. NOT TALKING ABOUT HIGH FIRE RATE AUTO RIFLES. We all know about the "Doctrine Of Passing".

Edited by Mar: 7/26/2016 2:11:19 AMabout the only real change med-low rate of fire auto rifles need is a accuracy boost, the damage on them is fine, the stability is manageable even if you hold down the trigger, and the range feels about where it should be. problem is, those auto rifle's accuracy is bad, almost really bad. even feathering the trigger i feel like only 3 out of every 6 or 7 shots land. even if the target is stationary, the bullet spread is all over the place. besides that they are balanced fine at the moment, doctrine of passing could still use a small amount of it's stability knocked down though. problem is there is no reason to use one when scout and pulse (some of them) rifles can 3 shot someone and fire as fast if not faster and are better at longer ranges. because of what PvP is (engagements in either long or extreme close ranges) auto rifles that are not called doctrine of passing don't really fit with the types of engagements you deal with. that being said they work amazing in PvE right now.
