In one sense your right its the stability on those pulse rifles and autos that make them so deadly. i think god rolls mostly effect autos for the max stability. for instance a soul steelers claw with counterbalance and braced frame.
shortening the range on thoughs high fire rate autos would be an improvement. if each weapon had its place it would be better. you want suros regime to have the same range as bad juju? no way bad juju should have a higher range. no auto should have as much range as a pulse rifle.
you say bungie needs to alter and not nerf subclasses but nerfing shoulder charge is a nerf in my book.
i dont even play a striker titan and i dont think it needs a nerf. some things however need buffs. I think all the subclasses where fine and nerfing anything with them will ruin the game and make each subclass less fun to play. you want to feel powerful and have a fast paced game and any nerf to subclasses are uneccessary.
i think hakons hachet is a mid firing auto if you buffed that that would be too OP.
people talk about auto rifles like they suck but they dont. Op said you dont see many i say you see more autos then pulse rifles in crucible!!
i should not have to take cover to beat a auto rifle user. they melt people and fast do to the max stability and stagger effect . yes the high rate of fire autos are giving me the most problems.
