The Two Marines moved in and started going on the Offense, the Dreadnought refraining from firing as to not disintegrate the Black Templar with its Multi Melta. Instead, it would watch their backs for anything trying to sneak up on them.

The Black Templar almost sighed in relief upon seeing the two Space Marines, but didn't do anything formal, instead just continuing to purge the bugs without getting killed, the pool of gore only getting bigger - only his own blood had joined the mix.
-
They tore through the bugs with ferocity, Both of them had Bolters, one of which a Storm Bolter, which was tearing through shit like freaking crazy.
-
Once all the bugs were exterminated, the Templar collapsed again, his Chainsword arm slipping from his hand. He truly was on the very verge of death.
-
"Cerex, give me a hand." They both went over and picked up the Templar, dragging him back to safety with Domicanus, the Dreadnought. They hadn't had much of anything when it came to medical supplies, and they weren't apothecaries, but they would be able to sustain him for a little while.

Edited by Nox: 7/27/2016 7:38:06 PMThe Space Marine didn't say anything, nor did he move or resist - the only sounds coming from him being the raspy and wheezing breathing that came from him. He seemed to be barely awake.
-
They patched up as many of the Templar's wounds they could as best as they could, Cerex, the previously mentioned Marine, now carrying the Marine. They started moving again, hopeful to find any sign of a medical-fancy place. Tirus, the other Marine, kept watch to their rear, while Domicanus led them on. "You will not die today, Brother." Spoke Cerex, even if the Templar wouldn't respond.
-
The Marine was wearing Power Armour, so patching his wounds was rather tricky, but very much possible with how much damage was done to his armour. The Templar did respond: he slowly nodded, and very silently mumbled, "Thank you.. Battle-Brothers.. It would seem the Emperor was with me today.. Damn Heretics.." He hissed the part about Heretics, his tone one of hate at that moment. It was clear what had brought him in this very critical condition.
-
Edited by Cmdr Dornick: 7/27/2016 7:51:05 PM"We shall see to it you survive, and if possible in this place, you get a new arm." They continued on, tense as ever. They had already encountered some Xenos... What next? What was in store for them? These questions haunted the marines.
-
"There have to be some Techpriest somewhere on this ship.. My arm is.. rather easy to repair.." He exhaled very slowly, having gripped his Chainsword arm just before they had dragged him to the Dreadnought. "What are your names.. Battle-Brothers..?"
-
The Marine carrying him Spoke. "I am Cerex," He pointed to Tirus. "That is Tirus," He motioned toward Domicanus. "And that is Domicanus."
-
"I.. I am Skatai Neotar.. Black.. Templar Initiate.." He was still mumbling, though his voice had more power than before - the patching up of his wounds certainly had helped a lot.
-
They kept on walking for a while, stopping every so often to check their comrades wounds, before moving again.
-
Edited by Nox: 7/28/2016 2:01:33 PMTheir.. comrade was still conscious, and the patched up wounds had stopped bleeding - except for that gigantic wound in his left shoulder. The wound caused by his own Chainsword arm.
-
"No sign of Anyone yet..." Cerex spoke, looking around them. He seemed to be getting more tense every minute.

Edited by Nox: 7/28/2016 2:23:47 PMThen, out in the distance, chanting, screams of pain, and other painful noises were heard. Cultists. Probably Khorne by the sounds of it.
-
Edited by Cmdr Dornick: 7/28/2016 2:19:43 PMThey could take some cultists, they did have Two Marines and a freaking Dreadnought after all.
-
The Space Marine they were taking with them propped up, his breathing getting a bit heavy as he mumbled, "Foul Heretics.. Nearby.. Bring me to them.."
-
"I would suggest staying back. We are capable of handling the problem, should we even encounter them."
-
But the Black Templar was fanatic as all fücking hell so he said something of it, louder than before, "No! They have been turned away from the glory of the God-Emperor of the Imperium of Man! They are but foul Heretics, to be crushed under my boot!"
-
However, these Marines were not fanatics. "You barely have a boot as it is, and you're missing an arm. You shall wait, brother."
-
The Marine shut up, and returned to floating around the edge of unconsciousness while the chanting 'n' shit quickly grew louder. They were getting close.
-
Cerex brought Skatai up to the Dreadnought, hiding him behind its massive leg while setting up a firing position.
-
Edited by Nox: 7/28/2016 3:20:39 PMThe Space Marine didn't resist, laying back behind the Dreadnought's massive leg in silence. He wasn't moving anytime soon.
time to introduce Leif? Just maybe.
-
Edited by Cmdr Dornick: 7/28/2016 4:56:03 PMCerex took his Boltpistol and set it down, right next to Skatai. "If anything gets too close for comfort, shoot it."
-
The Templar slowly nodded, taking the Boltpistol with some effort after letting of his arm. Then, the first cultists poked their heads out. They were, indeed, worshippers of Khorne.
