Among the halls, two figures stood out from the rest. One was the smaller of the two, standing at about 8'5. He wore a black cloak and hood, the only thing emerging from the black was his pristine Mark VIII "Errant" Model Helmet, painted fully black with red, glowing lenses. Also, his left arm was uncovered by the black cloak. It was silver, concrete like, and embellished in skulls in its entirety. It was lined with gold, and a golden symbol of the Deathwatch laid upon the pauldron. The left arm of the Space Marine held a Blade of Caliban, a relic from the Dark Angels Chapter. It's tip was shoved into the ground, the Space Marine's hand laying on the grip lazily, as the rest of him was leaning against the wall. The Deathwatch Space Marine was accompanied by a figure at least a head taller than him. It was a Khornate Berzerker, his blood red armor lined in gold, decorated with skulls and spikes. The Berzerker's helmet bore two, red glowing eyes, much like his companion. He was tossing a Khornate Chainaxe in his right hand, throwing it up and catching it. It was a two handed variation, but he had another clipped to his hip. It seemed he dual wielded the two handed versions. They both stared at the unfamiliar Chapter in silence.

The Trio also stared at the two in silence. Multiple thoughts ran through one of the marines' - Tirus - head. What was this Heresy?! Why were they just standing there?! Why was their Battle-Brother not attacking the Other figure!? Was he somehow being held against his Will?? Similar thoughts had ran through all their heads, and ultimately they decided to ask questions before they did anything else. Tirus spoke up. "Brother, why do you refrain from destroying this... This Heretic!?"
-
The two let out a sigh of annoyance in unison. They got off from leaning on the wall and stood up straight. The Deathwatch sheathed his Blade of Caliban, while the Khornate Berzerker sheathed his Chainaxe. The Deathwatch crossed his arms, revealing his other arm, which was were one would look to determine ones Chapter. But the Space Marine's right arm was completely black. He was a Black Shield, a member of Deathwatch who severed all ties to their previous Chapter. This was done out of great dishonor, or some other unknown reasons. "Look. I don't recognize your Chapter. Which means you're fairly new to the Imperium. So let me get something between you guys. You can go along and worship your corpse all you want, but don't make the same mistakes a Black Templar did. Because he ended up having his arm impaled through his shoulder because I don't fancy treating a half-dead man as a god. This revelation led me to my good friend here." He gestured to the Berzerker, who looked bored. "So I'm going to ask you kindly, to -blam!- off."
-
"First, we are not going to leave. Second, We're the Imperial Giants. And yes, we are fairly new. If you think us fanatics who go around killing absolutely everything that doesn't praise the Emperor, you are mistaken. We will not harm you, or him. And, since you've been here most likely longer than us, we will be accompanying you to wherever your destination is, because it may benefit us."
-
"Well I'll be damned." The Khornate Berzerker spoke up. "You guys actually have some common sense in ya. That's good." The Space Marine nodded, then spoke. "My name is Leonidas. I am a Black Shield and Keeper of the Deathwatch. My companion is Iratus, a Berzerker who is found of Khorne's methods. And as for our destination-" He looked to his left. "We're going left."
-
"Aye. I am Tirus," he pointed to his Space Marine Brother, "This is Cerex, and the Dreadnought behind us is Domicanus. Perhaps we shall find civilization, if that's even possible in this place, or Xenos..." He said the last part with a Spiteful tone.
-
"I'm sure you'll leave this place with a few kills under your belt." Leonidas readjusted his cloak to only show his helmet. "So, shall we begin?" Iratus stepped forward, beside Leonidas.
-
"We shall. You lead the way, we will take the rear." The Marine Replied. As they started walking, Tirus quickly asked another question. "Do you have any idea how you made it here?"
-
"I share the answer as everyone else on this ship, if you would call it that. No."
-
"That is unfortunate... Surely we will find Answers in due time. But I suppose it remains a mystery for now."
-
"Who cares how we got 'ere? There's heads to be rolled and blood to be spilt!" The Berzerker laughed at the mention of murder.
-
"Because there's more blood to be spilled outside of the place, and I like the idea of a way to regroup with the rest of my Chapter."
-
"I'm afraid that getting off this ship isn't so easy. It's part Warp, part living. Anything and everything roams these halls."
-
"THEN WE SHALL CRUSH THEM BENEATH OUR FEET." The Dreadnought finally spoke up, having been really quiet previously.
-
"Don't expect it to be that easy. There's things in here beyond even my comprehension."
-
"Then we should be on Guard at all times, you never know what could pop out of the shadows.."
-
"It's not the shadows I'm worried about..." Leonidas said in an ominous tone, looking at the walls.
-
"I fear we may not be prepared for what this place has in store for us. I am hopeful that we find more of our Battle Brothers."
-
"Hope isn't something you should have here. Don't try to hold onto something that doesn't exist. What matters here is survival. And sanity."
-
"YOU ARE JUST A RAY OF SUNSHINE, NOW AREN'T YOU?" Domicanus Spoke up again.
-
"No. I'm a realist."
-
"I WAS BEING SARCASTIC."
-
"I know."
-
"HMPH."
-
Leonidas sighed, and continued to walk.
