I understand, I was just offering some explanation as to why they aren't going to be continued on legacy consoles. I don't have any particular problem with your suggestions. However, I'd recommend upgrading, as Microsoft has stated that support for the 360 will be discontinued this year, and I'm guessing Sony won't be far behind.
