Specialize, don't generalize. Pick one or two main stats to focus on and stick with them. Find the ring of binding early on. (Saw this in the thread already) Always have a ranged option. Always have an escape plan. Talk to every NPC you find until they get fed up with you. Only summon if you are [u]truly[/u] struggling. Take breaks if you get frustrated. Buy repair powder. Lots and lots of repair powder. Don't judge the entire series based on this one, especially the bosses. Actual spoiler below:[spoiler]I'm looking at you prowling Magus and congregation. Can I even call you a boss?[/spoiler] Even if it's not the most organic playthrough, find someone who has played the game before and if you are stuck ask them what to do next.
