While I'm not sure it will compete, I'm still hopeful. Nintendo is working on launch titles right now(something Wii U lacked) and is even supporting 3rd party titles. That said, if a Metroid prime 4 doesn't exist for the nx(evidence says it likely is in development, but then again, all we know is that Retro is interested in making a Prime 4 for the NX), it's a no-go for me.
