DoT artifact incoming, so why did you nerf Sunsingers?

Hey Bungie, just one quick question. If you guys had originally planned for an artifact that negates DoT in Rise of Iron dlc, what was the purpose of nerfing the "Viking Funeral" perk? Im just curious.

sunsingers are done. Even after the burn fix there is no reason to use them. That can honestly be said of the warlock in general.
