The thing about Jerven is that he was not a fan of guns, he just knew the basics. So he held the gun by the barrel, ejected the clip and charged Anri in an attempt to cave her skull in, using the gun like a club.

"Oh?" Anri raises her shield, the blow still knocking her back somewhat. She simply backs away.
-
When the weapon bounced off her shield as he pulled it back, Jerven spun around and tried to hit just behind the shield, in an attempt to knock it away from her.
-
Dogged contender.
The shield goes flying out of Anri's hand. She immediately counters by kicking Jerven in the stomach, as if trying to get him away but not hurt him.

Jerven was greeted to a blow that would knock the wind out of his alien body, but eventually he recomposed himself. For his next strike he swung low, aiming for her right knee, knowing full well that blunt force to the sides of joints could be damaging.
-
As he made contact with her knee, Anri fell to her knees, groaning. She suddenly changed fighting style, gripping her blade instead of the hilt, and using the hilt itself to slam into Jerven's ribs. Hard enough to stun him, but not enough to hurt him.
Yes, this is actually a fighting style. Holding a blade and using the hilt as a bashing or smashing weapon. Mostly used to go against heavy armor, but...it works here.
Jerven's most notable skill was not how he could fight, but rather how he was highly agile for a fighter. He took a step back, and away from the hilt that was coming for him.
-
Anri steadily rises, though she begins limping with her right leg. She lets out a deep breath, watching Jerven and working through the pain, and keeps using the weapon's hilt as a bludgeoning tool.
-
Jerven had an idea. So he tossed the rifle behind him and threw the pistol to the side, before he sprinted after Anri.
-
Due to her own code of honor, Anri sheathed her sword and raised her fists, the left one being a steel gauntlet and the right bring a leather glove. Basically, she wouldn't strike someone down with her sword if they were unarmed or chose to be unarmed, unless completely necessary. So she waited for him to approach...
-
When Anri sheathed her blade Jerven's plan of attack changed entirely. His plan was to grab her sword when she came for a blunt swing, but he had a different idea in mind. And so when Jerven got close he stopped immediately in front of her, and went to collide their heads. Remyre bones were nigh unbreakable, so his skull was protected in the case of damage to him if she had a helm.
-
In fact, she didn't have her helm at the moment, due to being in a hurry to get here. As such, Anri went reeling back, almost falling over. She was vulnerable, at the moment.
-
Jerven quickly rushed over and placed his shoe on the throat of the knightly woman,. before he looked into her eyes and spoke up. "Have I got admittance?"
-
"Not the smartest thing you could've done at the moment..." Anri points at her sword. "...Then again, I'm not that cheap, to slice off an unarmed fighter's leg just because I'm pinned down. Now...mind getting off, please?"
-
And so Jerven removed his foot from the throat of the knightly woman. "That's what I was relying on."
-
Anri began to rise, chuckling. "Oh really? Interesting." Standing up now, she simply smiles at Jerven, stretching a little. "I suppose you're in, then."
-
"Sweet. And thank you, by the way."
-
"Yeah. Good meeting you...sorry, I don't know your name. So sorry." She sounds slightly embarrassed.
-
"No worries. I'm Jerven, you?"
-
"Anri. Pleasure meeting you, Jerven."
