All I can think is wow right now, kinda miss that game, too long of a crawl to lvl 100 tho

Yep wow is 1 of the games that have gear sets, new expansion is out at the end of August of your thinking about it. Am sure buying the expansion gives you 1 free boost to lvl 100.

With how much fun I had, I wouldn't doubt I'd get back into it, just not enough hours in the day, for the next couple years at least haha

Maybe they've only noticed gear sets when playing the Division. Or maybe they mention it because it's the most recent game with that mechanic for armor.

The thing is, every time someone mentions gear sets, there will always be people relating the topic to the division. I have seen it multiple times, there are many games that had/have gear sets.

So because it's in other games they should mention those?

Mention something else just 1 game, not division every time someone says something similar to it and other games.
