do you know how much time you have to get those 7 kills? I didn't realize it could be done in that much time.

It's 3 seconds between each kill, although sometimes the game gives you slightly more or slightly less time for seemingly no reason.

I don't doubt that at all. best I've done is 5 kills in about 10 seconds. with storm caller.

I've had 6 in about 3 seconds with golden gun lol, and I've had several split sevens (triple followed by a breaker, or slayer followed by a double) with various other things. This is one of my very old clips and the second half of it really shows just how odd and short the timer can be. Sometimes it chains multis despite the score not chaining, other times it doesn't chain the multi despite the score chaining. I really hope they bring the multi kill timer up to either 3.5 or 4 seconds for destiny 2 so that there can be more non super high multis.

And yet every -blam!-ing time I use golden gun, I miss 3 out of 4 shots even when aiming.

I'm nowhere near as good with golden gun as you are. The one slayer medal I got, not too long ago and there was the 6th person 5 feet away, I died and then the ones that respawnned were showing on radar as I was dying, so almost for me. I'm still getting better with shotguns though so it will help once I can continuously get more than a few kills in a row with a shotgun.

As long as the previous kill score is on your screen the streak is active. So maybe 2 seconds per kill. 7 kills in 14 seconds maybe?

I know getting 5 kills for that medal can be done in more than a couple seconds, figured it would be around 10 seconds.
