I didn't get it at the time, thought he was praising me for controlling well the hawksaw, which is a fast firing gun, lmao... guess he intended to say "controller" instead. The gun kills in 0.80 seconds if all headshots land while fired at full RoF (according to a chart I've seen), but in this video it's simply too fast.

Wow. That's clearly much faster than the actual fire rate of any PDX-45 or Hawksaw. Definitely cheating somehow.

I understand rapid fire/auto lock but how would that make it fire faster than its capable of in game? See what I'm saying? The fire rate should be the same, right?

Yeah, but it seems like the gun should not be capable of firing that quickly in game. That seems like a massive oversight.

It can't, short of someone rewriting the code for his specific hawksaw (which isn't a thing). Weapons in destiny will not fire faster than their RoF stat. Period. It doesn't matter if your controller can key in the command 1000x per second since the game has programmed RoF restrictions in place to prevent exactly that sort of abuse.

Its the reload cheat. Just like you can do with NLB. Fire, reload, Sprint to stop reload, fire again. The controll is just doing it so fast you can't see it

yes it can, that why you have e-shops with modded controlers compatible with destiny. PERIOD.

E shops have controllers that are "modded for destiny" because idiots will buy them thinking that, somehow, a controller can rewrite the code of the game. All those controllers do is start up a macro that continuously spams the button. They can't make a weapon fire faster than the stat in the game. Ever. Unless, y'know, space magic.
