Modded controller. They're becoming more common. I forget the name of the one you can get for $60 and it grants pulse to be fired as auto. Anyone can google it & place an order. It can also up the damage for Suros Regime, specifically - - I saw this one in action myself yesterday. If this is permitted and becomes more prevalent, I suppose it'll be time for a new controller.
With all of these unwanted nerfs, part of me can't really fault these users but so much.
Does anyone know if bans are/have been handed out to folks using these controllers?

Moded controllers do not trump game code. For example it would not eliminate the burst of a pulse rifle. All it would do is if you held down the trigger the mod chip in the controller would fire bursts for you as if you were pulling the trigger repeatedly, but the bursts would still be there and it would be no quicker than pulling the trigger repeatedly without having a mod. Same goes for using a mod with a scout rifle, hold the trigger down and mod keeps pulling the trigger for you, but it can't increase the coded fire rate of the weapon. Not sure how it would effect an auto rifle. Don't get me wrong, I consider mods cheating because you get a free perk, but this video is not the result of a mod, this is pure auto fire without bursts and firing through walls. There is something really messed up here, code level.

Gotcha. But that isn't what's advertised.....maybe just sales I dunno. For the Suros example, that gun is seldom used and pretty much dead these days. But.....I was smoked by it recently in what seemed like TLW kill time when it could do .50 sec. I read about the modded controllers a while back and just blew it off, but this encounter with Suros was atypical.

The sales pitch about increasing fire rate refers to badly coded (CoD) games that do not internally enforce fire rate in-game Destiny is smarter than that though, Controller inputs and game actions are separated, tapping the trigger faster than the weapon refire rate simply disregards the extra trigger pulls (or caches them for a moment, depending on timing). Destiny Input processing is all very seamless and well done actually

Suros does melt the shit out of people, especially with the spinning up perk active.

I know how it handles, used it before. This was unnatural though. I'm talking .50 ttk.

He could've been on the bottom half of the clip. It does do a remarkable amount of extra damage, and I'm sure most of us who've used it at least try to remember to not reload after each kill.

I wish I had a clip of it.
