[DIGITAL_DOJO]

Before reading further, something you should know:
This is an RP thread. If you don't like that kind of thing, than I suggest you hit the back tab now.
Welcome to the [DIGITAL_DOJO], a safe haven for warriors of any kind. Here, all are welcome to train for whatever purpose they may have, whether it be a war, or for personal improvement. You may bring weapons, or buy them here, as we can provide for the unarmed. OUR POLICY: The dojo will remain neutral to all other groups, and anyone is welcome to train. This also means we will not interfere with other battles, nor will we start one ourselves. There is one exception however, it is the sovereignty. We have declared war on them, and we will grill their corpses... If you wish to truly join us, you must go through testing by me or by designated personnel. If not, you do not have permission to take up permanent residence. This place is centered around fighting. This includes a multitude of different fighting techniques, ranging from bladed weaponry, ranged, magical, to even firearms. We have specialists for each, and we also carry some forms of each in stock. Another important notice to everyone: do not add or make adjustments to the dojo without asking me first. This includes relations with other groups, buildings, particularly dangerous equipment, and new members. NEWS:
WE'VE HIT 50,000!! DON'T SHUT US DOWN NOW!
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
I'm not always going to be here! If I don't respond, look for one of the Lieutenants.
RULES
1-the dojo will remain neutral under any and every circumstance, with one exception (see rule 6). All members are required to follow this rule. 2-Any member attempting to take another members life without consent or approval from either the person in question or me will be removed. This becomes effective immediately. 3-Godmodding will grant you a removal from the dojo. 4-lieutenants will now be selected based on merit, not time spent. It is still a factor, but not the main reason for selection. 5-Remember that you cannot win every fight. Try to win if you can, but if you are put up against impossible odds, do not resort to godmodding 6-Anyone and everyone of the sovereignty is our enemy. Kill them and bring their corpses back to the dojo for grilling 7-Ookshmook383141 is not permitted to participate due to constant harassment. No one is permitted to allow him entry. General RP rules will be discussed in the group
For those that don't know what this thread is about, this is an RP thread. Which means you can leave if you were here for something else. [<>---------------------------------<>] And yes, we still exist.

 • Here's some logic from one of the best RPrs I have had the honor to meet. He's up there with Cobalt, Salazar, and Alonfé. Take his advice and stop being little butthurt shits.
I get this is a place for suggestions, but this rant may come across as shittalking. Understand that it isn't and is rather an outlook of someone, but if you want to kick me for it, I'll put no struggle and will quietly leave. As someone who's not really a known face in the Dojo, I see that most things are just quests and quests now. Where's the dynamic fights? What's the incentive to train in this place? Where are the people like Maya who lost to Deadpool and now her character wants revenge? What happened to people like Alonfe who were literally learning moves of people like Cobalt to beat them? Most importantly, where's the character progression? I don't think Sithis started off as a god, nor did Blackjack start off leading Venom inc. So people should make a side character that starts off with little, and through their trials and tribulations they gain more and more. Now, events. Events now consist of quests that typically have pre-determined paths and quests. I'm going to give a little history lesson here: Who are June Bellicose, Alex Wilson, and Cobalt Phoenix? Cobalt was a Dojo lieutenant and Wilson was his killer, he ran him through with his own blade, because he was tricked into it by Bellicose. Nobody saw that coming, it was a shock to everyone, and truly a piece of history. So I propose we do more than just the occasional fight, and actually host regular events, take leaps, do dynamic shit to fight each other and make stories, kill off beloved characters and make a name for yourself. Not just as the guy who uses a certain weapon, but as the slayer of this guy, or the one who jumped off a collapsing building and impaled someone with a bobby pin. Finally, don't get bitchy over gear. I myself was asked to leave a magic oriented quest because of the fact my character possessed no magic and was half machine. Back in the day, people had way more than just augments or some basic gear, rather they possessed exo suits that would be able to punch through titanium if they wanted. You all know the drill right? The infamous weapon JT has that can and will completely dick someone over? Well way back when, that arm was linked to an exo suit that increased the size AND the users strength, speed, heat resistance and more. Learn to embrace gear as not just a tool but as weapons of war, master how to use them and counter others, and let loose the hounds of war. And here's more of a suggestion for you guys. As someone in Bungie.net's biggest RP groups (100+ members for at least 3 of them), I can safely say that the Dojo is the laughingstock of Bnet RP. why? Bullshit fights, horribly small posts and not enough detail overall. You want to make this place big? Because you guys can get at least 100 more people if you put effort into posts, plots, not having edgy bios and not having, say, god and satan in your pasts. Be creative, put some effort and think, you'll have more people and posts are super satisfying to publish. Signed, JT, the one guy who tries to learn the Dojo's history to the point of memorizing certain events.
