Whether I get thrown into a losing battle, or when we're in the slight lead, I still do what I would do in the crucible. That's continue battle without MIDA, TLW, sniper, or shotgun.
I'll fight tooth & nail with all the other weapons in my arsenal. I'll run with my mediocre Eysaluna or obscure NL Shadow 701x.
I don't always go against the 'meta,' the 'meta' goes against me.
Next time you die against a Tread Upon Stars, or a The Vacancy, just know, a Guardian is giggling and having a rowdy, good time.

I use Treads Upon Stars all the time!
-
I don't care if he's a bastard.
-
If you count suros weapons as not meta I've got a full auto pulse and scout and a glass half full ar that I pretty much just rotate exclusively no MIDA here and recently switched to side arms from my Longbow diversity is full of fun ways to continue playing the game in different ways
-
I love my Shadow. I also love my Hung Jury, so if I am feeling scout rifles, I swap between them.

Edited by Kyuss: 8/15/2016 5:03:52 PMClash on Vertigo - solo queue. Watch team run into the hallway and stop, pull out snipers. Watch grenade sail in, land and kill three of them. Watch the enemy team push, mop up. Kill one who traded, get killed but s/he gets Narrow Escape medal (so close! Next time...) Spawn. See team lined up in tunnel, hard scoping with snipers.... See grenade sailing in.... Pull out ghost, press and hold Triangle

I spawned into a match where it was 1v6. Wtf Bungie. Fix that. I stayed in the match and got mercy ruled in a few minutes. Really pissed off over that game, and it's not the first time it's happened..
-
HA! Good stuff. I roll the vacancy too, but that's arguably the best fusion option out there too. I'll be honest it's hard for me to get far from MIDA, but mostly cause I don't run hunter and I feel slow without the move speed, it's just less FUN L. Third eye helps too but I've got that on a few other guns. Got an old Hygia Noblesse with full auto, braced frame, and I think hidden hand. I know people see that and are like, "whaaaaattt?"
-
Me too, bro. In my whole Destiny career I have quit less than 10 games. It's just principles.
-
I just won a rumble match against nothing but TLWs.. I was using an un leveled paleocontact. I'll use bitch weapons in trials from time to time.. but in the regular crucible, I'm the guy you either hate getting killed by because I'm using a crap weapon, or you don't mind being killed by me because your looking thru the roster to inspect the wepon you just got murdered with.

Edited by Loot Olson: 8/14/2016 9:21:40 PMThe humans, I think, knew they were doomed. Where another race would surrender to despair, the humans fought back with greater strength. They made the Minbari fight for every inch of space. In my life, I have never seen anything like it; They would weep, they would pray, they would say goodbye to their loved ones, and then throw themselves without fear or hesitation at the very face of death itself, never surrendering. No one who saw them fighting against the inevitable could help but be moved to tears by their courage. Their stubborn nobility. When they ran out of ships, they used guns, when they ran out guns they used knives and sticks and bare hands. They were magnificent. I only hope that when it is my time, I may die with half as much dignity as I saw in their eyes in the end. They did this for two years....they never ran out of courage, but in the end, they ran out of time.

I only remember quitting a match once. I was doing the exotic sword quest, getting sword kills in crucible. Match after match I couldn't get any heavy ammo, was raging at random teammates who would pop it before I could get there. Then when I got it, I was getting rocketed before I could take a swipe at anyone. Once I got mad, then I was stupidly rage-charging as soon as I got heavy, which only made things worse. So when I finally got my last kill, I immediately quit the match I was in.
-
I don't care what you use, you shouldn't care what I use. Simple as that. This community needs to build a bridge and get over themselves. I didn't buy this game to play how other people want me to play. I'm going to use what I want, when I want.
-
love my shadow 701x. got explosive rounds on it. it is a beautiful thing.
-
nl shadow is an awesome gun! eyasaluna is also cool.. Nice choice in weapons
-
I agree. I never leave when I join mid match. I try to at least make the score close and sometimes we come backhand win which feels nice. Also I stay because I am greedy and hope for a good drop lol.

Next time the Revelator explodes your giggling brains all over the wall, just know that Plan C was right there ready to take over in case of phantom bullets. They saw me and I said unto them: I am savior. Lord of Befuddlement. I bring confusion

In Soviet Russia, meta follows you!!!!!!!

Whenever I go against the Meta, he usually impales me with his Brute Shot. Cheeky bastard he is.
-
Here here! Fellow guardian I don't play kiddie crucible( cept to get box" I refuse to use mida, sniper in banner. I'm ok with either, but like the challenge of auto against everything) I lose, I win, never leave. My teams have been mercies, my teams have came back for a win against being down 2k or more and short handed. Yeah banner is a shell of former self, but dammit, I have a freaking blast EVERYtime!
-
i don't ever leave crucible battles either Together we stand... Divided we fall
-
PVP is about having fun and experimenting with new things.
-
Whenever I go into the Crucible, I have a fun time, regardless of if I win or lose. That is what video games are supposed to be about. Having Fun.
-
I rarely if ever leave a game...but I did have a game go to 6 vs. 1 because I didn't leave. Took me a few deaths to figure out I was the only one on my team...
-
Thank you. I'm the same way. I just wanna play. Forget the whining.
