I've been working in computer tech since school started and it's been really helpful. We work with simulations on computers at a website called TestOut.com and have even started working on old decommissioned school pc's. We're currently learning how to use linux in the simulations. I'm sure that a lot of you know much more about computers than me since a good amount of you play PC. Come share your knowledge.

Dell desktop authority, sophos cloud antivirus, if you can afford it use cisco network switches for free cisco network assistance software that makes your life easier, sophos or dell firewall, gimp, learn drupal, wsus, define security permissions on shared folders to hopefully prevent ransomeware if it can infect, dont use passwords like "newpassword" or "i love my computer "

I can use HxD hex editor to mod SCV, but I can hardly use Microsoft Word or PowerPoint properly...
-
I'm not too knowledgeable with hardware (I'm sure I could learn it) but I have my degree in computer science. I'm currently a mainframe developer for the state of NY.
-
I can get any computer to like me...oh wait, you meant knowledged on computer tech, not.....oh.

I wouldn't call myself good, but I know my way around pornsites

My brother has a doctorate and a masters degree in software engineering - I grew up watching and learning from him.

Turn everything on and off again.

I built my own PC and have a basic working knowledge of HTML and want to learn more about Networking and to learn C++
-
I can turn one on and find porn through Google. It's all I really need honestly.
-
Studied the subject since I was young. I worked 4 years as technical support and currently working as a system administrator for nearly a year. I am taking courses on networking just for the certification.
-
I understand basic, basic python from a course I took a while ago. I do kinda enjoy writing code and should probably get back into it though.
-
what department do you mean hardware? Software? fixing problems?
-
I'm decent I can do quite a bit but there's still a bunch I don't know
-
Extremely bad. Forever asking people how to do stuff with it or getting them to fix it, for some how I've stuffed it up. I must admit that even this account was created by someone else for me. So yeah, quite pathetic when it comes to computers.

Pretty good I think. I scan my Windows system folders, manually, looking for suspicious file names and delete them. Windows needs to beef up its security because I find ALOT of files that just look suspicious.....

I can use PowerPoint.
