The beginning of the abuse of a license?
Metal Gear Survive was announced at Gamescom, and represents the first Metal Gear title to be published by Konami sans Kojima (not counting that pachinko crap). What do you guys think? Will this be a fresh co-op survival horror experience, or does it mark the beginning of Konami's misuse of the Metal Gear license?

Never played metal gear but this game looks pretty cool. As much as I know about metal gear though, maybe it should have another title.

Technically it's Konami's IP, but this is the single dumbest move they could have made. They needed to sit on Metal Gear for a good 4-5 years, then maybe try and resurrect it when people aren't so pissed off anymore. But this is terrible, and as childish as it may be, this could be the single greatest video game ever made and I still wouldn't buy it, just because Kojima isn't part of it.

Even if they made a great game I'm not sure I really want to support them. Unfortunately the poor devs would be punished as well
