Second of all Microsoft has been trying to make an entertainment machine for a while now. They've been wanting to create a machine that could take over the living room as a DVR, gaming console, radio, and computer all in one without having it be the price of a computer but with just as much and possibly more benefits. That's why they don't call it a console.
