But here is the thing:
Why did it go from one to two years? One year exclusivity was a record, why EXTEND it to Fall 2017? What is there to gain because I don't believe Xbox players are going to switch or anything...

I don't think it's true. But it could be due to MS sad attempt at the current generation of consoles. They lost to Sony. Then announced the laughbable Xbox one S. Then made the Xbox one obsolete in very short time with Scorpio. Microsoft seemingly, just like bungie and their exclusives... ...Just Don't Get It

Actually the s sold amzing and was a good console if you're just a casual. The Scorpio is supposed to be able to have games work with the one.

Microsoft adopted this idea that people want to upgrade every three years like a PC... If that was true I would play on PC.

Um, there is this thing called the PlayStation Neo coming this year. So it is not just Microsoft, Sony obviously thinks it is a good idea also. Even better Sony wants you to upgrade a year before Microsoft does. Let go of the MS hate.
