Note: This is MY experience with Sunsinger, so calling out skill is pointless, its just my feedback.
What category does this super fall into?
-Its not effective as an offensive roaming super, because its pitifully easy to take out.
-Its not an effective support super, because the grenades are near harmless for area control and it only lasts 13 seconds (15 with radiant will)
-Allies are never bottlenecked on most maps because that is certain death so i can't use song of flame.
-No-one even seems to know what song of flame is when i use it.
-Many maps are open and render it near useless
-very prone to panic smash since its an easy kill (like most roaming supers)
-If you attempt to use it offensively, the other team will just pop their super and easily kill you.
-Solar grenade is not a good option because people literally walk through them
-Firebolts are pitiful for radiance use
-Fusions leave you vulnerable due to throwing and then waiting for the detonation.

-Flame shield will not help you during your super, you can only get one charge up during your super
-Flame shield was nerfed in many various ways anyway
-using the other melees leave you prone to getting killed by shotgun melees
I'm not saying it needs to team wipe, but it needs to be a more fun and reliable experience. It has a very low super success rate. What i mean by this is the chance in which you can carry out your duty.
Examples:
Striker: take out a roaming super or kill the opposing team on their heavy
Novabomb: same as titan
Nightstalker: tether someone
Defender: they too are prone to supers, but can really benifit the team
Gunslinger: get at least 3 kills
Stormcaller: get any number of kills
Sunbreaker: get any number of kills
Bladedancer:get any number of kills
Even worse is that bungie themselves advocate sunsingers surrendering their super by using the felwinter artifact. (I'm not making this up it was in an interview)
What can the Sunsinger do to help his team when he can be countered so easily by any gun or super?

https://youtu.be/sohgfKpkymA?t=1469 Even bungie immediately thinks sunsingers should give up on radiance. It was the first subclass he thought of that would be better off using an artifact that gets rid of your super.
