ok, so my idea is the "Suros Tournament"
Basically, it is a simplified crucible game mode design to maintain a more balanced gameplay.
1.All players have access to the same weapons. From the menu, you can select a Pulse Rifle, Scout Rifle, Auto Rifle, Handcannon in the primary slots, these weapons are all exclusively available in this game mode and can be customized with basic perks and different scopes. Same with Special Weapons and Heavy, the idea is that everyone has the same weapons, but that can customize them to have more range and less ammo, or more less stability, ect. ect. in other words all players will be able to equip one highly customized weapon of each weapon type (Sniper, Sword, Machine Gun auto rifle) that is exclusive to this game mode
2. All armor perks are disabled.
3. Light levels equalized, no supers, and void, solar and arc damage table equalized
5. ALL PLAYERS HAVE THE SAME, NEW, CLASS EXCLUSIVE TO THIS GAME MODE. This class is highly customizable, choose melee abilities such as "over-shield activation upon melee kill" like a defender titan, "Gain invisibility upon melee kill" like Blade-dancer, "a chained lighting melee" like Stormcaller, "regenerate a portion of health upon melee kill", or smoke. All of the fore-mentioned perks will be available in one column of this new class. All melee cooldowns are the same for all players.
This same philosophy goes to the grenade and jump abilities.
Jump Abilities: Lift (use a high reach Titan lift type jump) Triple Jump (use a Hunter triple Jump) Glide (Use a warlock glide jump) Blink (use a blink jump) Shadestep (you have no jump ability, only the basic single jump, but you can use shadestep)
Grenade abilities: Sticky grenade, Tripmine, ect. (various grenade types available in one column shared among all players.) again, grenade cooldowns equalized.
6. FORCE TEAM COLORS ON PLAYERS. This usually isn't a huge problem, but when there are a lot of players in a small space the lack of distinctive colors between teams is kind of ridiculous. Going along with what I said earlier, all armor used is purely cosmetic.
7. Three separate Suros tournament game modes: Rumble, 3v3, 6vs6. (similar to the classic game mode section)
8. team score goes by kills, not by "points".
That's pretty much the bulk of it. Personally this would make crucible a much more enjoyable experience for someone like me who preferred the balanced gameplay of Halo Reach. This new game mode would be a exciting new experience for destiny players to form a new, but familiar game-play style. Being able to use exactly the kind of jump you want, combined with exactly the kind of grenade you want, combined with exactly the kind of melee ability you want would be amazing. Taking supers out of this particular game mode would be appreciated among people like myself who find that they are completely annoying and stupid in the crucible.
I think it would be cool to make this have its own social hub as well, where you can go and set up your character with the exclusive weapon/class setup the way you want it, pick up suros tournament bounties, then pick you game mode by going through a door or something where you will enter matchmaking for Suros Rumble, Suros 6v6, or Suros 3v3, whichever one you choose.

For accuracy's sake I'd like to point out that blade dancers gain invisibility on a blink strike hit, not a kill.
