Bungie are soo lazy! Just put the story into the game itself

they had the story but some really smart corporate people told them to completely re work the game a year before release- they have been playing cetch up ever since.

That was after the really smart ppl tried screwing done of the creators over. There is an investigative piece by a journalist that spoke to employees off the record about what happened. Can't remember the website.

It's not laziness. Some people just want to shoot guns. Others want a story. Bungie lets you have it either way. If you want the story, you can find it. If you don't care, they don't bother you with it.

I agree. There have been other games that have done similar stuff. Bioshock was a great game and had tapes you could pick up for more bits of story, then going back and replaying it you can just skip it and get more shooting in

The story was mostly removed. Not like you are saying something remarkable here. But a lot of games have had a decent story and had extra tid bits through tapes or letters you can find for extra story. Destiny was going to be like that but corporate screwed stuff up.
