That is if you take what they said as fact. The grimoire card for the rasputin says this "Coerce pseudo altruistic event" Meaning "force the traveler to do something for the good of man kind" IE the traveler never wanted to help us. This is in the card where he is basically telling us "if all of these things happen, this is what I need to do in order for the extinction event to be deterred" So, the traveler WAS going to leave, and rasputin stopped him. Not saying the traveler is evil, just saying things aren't as black and white as some make it out to be.

  • It's not surprising. What better way of proving we are on the side of good then by saying. I'm still not going to go off what some dude was told to say. Which happens alot in the industry. I'm going to go off the grimoire that actually tell the story Not what some guy was told to say and present in a nice package to readers. It's good to see you cant have your own opinion though. "Bungie said it so it's true" Lol.
