I thought Rasputin also "wounded" the Traveler so it couldn't abandon us like it did the Fallen

  • Actually this was confirmed in the grimoire since the game came out (Ghost Fragment : Mysteries). Some people just jumped to conclusions based on Rasputin having a contingency for attacking IF the traveller tried to flee.

  • I'm confused, are you refuting or confirming what he said?

  • In the grimoire I mentioned Rasputin in his own words admired the traveller for not running and hiding like he did when the darkness came, meaning the final requirement for Loki Crown wasn't met and thus Rasputin never attacked the traveller. Bungie is only confirming what has been in the grimoire since vanilla.
