It's time to buff primary weapons. They need to be the best weapons in the game, at this point in the game primaries have been nerfed so many times that you'll be better off running around with a shotgun all game.
Hand canons and auto rifles don't have enough range to challenge any snipers. Weapons (minus hand canons) can't kill fast enough to counter shotgunners (especially in a meta where thunder strike/juggernaut/force barrier are very common). In the next patch some things need to be done about primaries. NO MORE NERFS. We are done with those.

-give pulse rifles back their damage they had before 2.0
-give auto rifles back their damage they had in vanilla
-scouts may stay the same, they were always inferior to hand hand canons except at long distance. [/u][/b]

Edit: here is what I predict will be nerfed because we all know the word "buff" is not in bungie's dictionary.
-Grasp of Malik archetype damage nerfed to 19 headshot, less range
-Medium impact hand canons bloom mechanic intensified, they're being used too much
-increased control will not provide Titans with significant lateral movement speed anymore, Titans were never meant to be so fast, it's not how we want you to play the game
-blink strike lunge distance nerfed, we find blade dancer had increased usage since the last patch
-the hawksaw archetype of pulse rifles will be removed, all weapons in this archetype will be transformed into the slightly slower firing archetype (nirwens). We thought it wasn't fair that nirwens took the same amount of shots to kill as the hawksaw, but shot slower.

Certain archetypes need buffs. But primaries as a whole do not. Scouts safely challenge snipers. Bullet hose AR's and high impact hand cannons counter shotguns. Also side arms are a GREAT counter to shotguns. Hell a properly rolled fusion rifle is as well. Some pulses can challenge snipers as well.

Have elemental primaries return to the game. That's the buff required for PVE. For the Crucible there's not really anything that Bungie can do. The Crucible is broken. Broke back Bungie Mountain broken.

I would say just fix HC. After nerf something is really off about them. Pretty much useless. Almost noone uses them in pvp anymore snd i can see why. Phantom bullets all the time.

In the last interview with Jon Weisnewski, I think Crucible Radio asked him and the guys he brought about buffing Primary weapons. I believe Jon and the other guys said that they wanted the game to be more about team shotting. A good portion of the community seems to disagree and chooses to try and use their OHK Specials for as long as they can. They also tried to limit Special ammo by just reducing the amount that we can carry, but that just hurt PvE.

How's about remove [b][i][u]all nerfs[/u][/i][/b] from PVE. Guardians are warriors of light created by a god, shouldn't they be powerful while destroying everything and have fun doing it? Who ever heard of a nerf in a game about being Demi-gods.

I think the only primaries that need a slight buff are auto rifles and hand cannons need to be looked at and possibly pulse rifles. I don't play pvp much but it's obvious to see what type of weapons are more useful special weapons are used far more than primaries now which shouldn't be happening especially snipers and shotguns. Scout rifles are fine the only problem with scouts is most of the maps don't help that weapon type apart from the odd few maps.

Also, increase the ammo reserves for hand cannons, No Land Beyond, and Universal Remote. Their lack of ammo is the main thing keeping them from being popular choices in PvE.

All the spillover nerfs from pvp into pve kind of hurt the fun factor for me. I think i haven't played destiny in over a week. My God man!the addiction is fading! Hahahaha. I agree though, pve needs a ton of buffs but won't happen til they start from scratch in destiny 2.my best guess anyway

I still see people getting smashed by TLW from a good distance, same with AR's..How about reduce the range of UI instead.. but l'll happy with this if Red Death goes back to what it once was

Y1 used to reward accuracy a lot more than y2- also, people say the game feels slow, I think lowering the time-to-kill on everything could help... When OHK weapons rule the META- I think we can afford to lower the TTK

Melees and grenade are obviously going to be better at damage. And I hope i don't have to explain why supers perform way better than primaries Honestly I think the game is the most balanced it's ever been. Maybe buff auto damage/range a bit but that's it.

Primaries are fine. I went into the last IB with UR and CTD. You know what kept killing me? Primaries. Handcannons on the shorter maps and scouts or pulsers on the longer ones. Why did I go in with double shotties? Because a friend bet me I couldn't. Needless to say, I owe my friend a twinkie.
