New to FPS

Destiny is my first FPS and I love it. It's stories, which aren't long or complicated, are still good and keep me entertained. Even just patrolling is tons of fun. I have every mission done (almost) except all the matchmaking strikes. Because im new to FPS games and I'm not ve good, I feel like I'm just slowing everyone down and dying all the time. Does anyone else feel that way? Any advice?

  • A lot of people will try to speed run strikes now for quick rewards. This is not the best way for you to learn as they will often abandon players who don't keep up and you will end up stuck fighting the adds they left behind. Unfortunately, this is the only way to learn If you are new to FPS then the crucible will also be bad. There is an element of skill-based matchmaking that means you will get matched against other beginners (after a few matches that it takes to learn your skill level). Learn what weapons work for you are learn the maps. Control and clash are fairly simple to pick up to start with Good luck and stick with it
