You meant to reply to OP, I'm sure. He's the one complaining autos and HCs don't have the range to challenge snipers. That's just stupid.
-
In a short-mid range engagement they should, yet they still dont. Snipers in this game are very rarely used in "long range" engagements, mostly scoping mid range lanes. So, yes, auto rifles and HCs should compete. And how should HCs not? Ill give you that autos should not past short-mid range, but HCs with good range absolutely should. However, a gun that does 86ish damage to the head doesnt cause nearly enough flinch to compete.
-
No. HCs should not compete at extended range. Even medium extended range. That's just silly.
-
That is just a ridiculous statement, a weapon with huge impact should compete at medium range all day. Seeing as it is a paced, hard hitting gun...
-
You realize range and impact are different stats, right? So just because it has high impact doesn't mean it should out-gun snipers in their sweet spot. Even high impact scouts can't do that, and there's a better argument for making them anti-sniper weapons.
-
Yes but if im in optimal HC range doing max damage with no fall off, i should cause enough flinch to challenge a sniper.
-
Why? That's not the case for any other weapon, so why should HCs be special?
