I think it should go like this.
Remove the bloom from handcannons, and edge up their range a bit. Close to medium range is fine, well and dandy until you consider that they fail on their intended placement.
Autos across the board should edge up their damage. They operate the way they're intended, but need a bit of a buff to kinda smooth things over. I'm talking about like... a point or two more damage, nothing extreme.
Pulse rifles need to have more defined archetypes.
Bring back the Y1 archetypes.
Low RoF/high impact like the messenger or Y1 Red death. Two bursts to the head.
Low-Medium RoF/High-Medium impact like nirwins mercy or final duty. Two burst with crowd control or reactive reload, 3 under all other circumstances.
High-medium/Low-medium impact like the SUROS PDX-45 or Hawksaw, 3 bursts, no change to it.
High RoF/low Impact, grasp of Malak, and, for those who remember, oversoul Edict.
3 to 4 burst.
Scouts could use a little change, maybe to stability? Mag size? All I know is that they should put MIDA into its real category.
