But it's the fanfire that allows it to shoot so fast. It's essentially full auto without the regular cool down. Bloom wouldn't work on a weapon like that since you'd most likely miss every shot.
I don't think it's popular for not having bloom because it's not even in the same category as regular handcannons (That's just my opinion)..
We can agree that TLW will most likely continue to be popular.

The Last Word is in the fastest firing archetype for Hand Cannons. Fanfire does nothing to effect the cooldown of bloom on the weapon. Bungie made a change to Hand Cannons with the last weapon tuning patch that lessens the effect of bloom on low range Hand Cannons. Due to The Last Word having a low range stat it also benefits from the change as well.

Edited by SweetOrngVegRoot: 8/29/2016 11:09:34 PMTLW and The Revelator have the same RoF. You can shoot (Whilst tapping) TLW faster than the revelator. Therefore they should theoretically have the same amount of bloom (EDIT: Which takes affect* the moment you fire), but they don't, TLW can and will hit the shot faster. They changed the affect of bloom because the animation was done before the cool down was, TLW was majorly affected because the fanfire makes it shoot faster than its own archetype. So there was an unbelievable number of ghost bullets. The reason I don't think TLW is popular for not being affected by bloom the same way the other guns are, is because it's not a question of whether bloom should have a major effect on it. If it did, TLW would become really difficult to use since it's main feature is its extremely high RoF. Also, I wasn't talking about bloom when I mentioned the cool down before, I was talking about RoF.

The Rate of Fire of TLW is not why it has less bloom, its because its range is so short. So no just because The Revelator has the same RoF as TLW does not mean it will be effected by bloom in the same manner. To be clear bloom still exist on TLW its just not a severe as with other Hand Cannons due to its low range stat. When I was mentioning TLW and its RoF I was comparing it to the other Hand Cannons that you typically see in Crucible which would be the Eyasluna archetype. All Hand Cannons can kill in 3 shots (exceptions for Reactive Reload or LITC Hand Cannons).

Okay, that's on me for assuming the bloom percentage was partially determined by RoF. What I should have said then was the lack of bloom (And yes I know it's there, I realize the way I've been talking about it is as if it's not. To be safe I'm just going to continue in the same manner but we both know I just mean it's not as effective 👍) doesn't matter since the range is so low anyway. To be honest I think we've circled back to some other point in the conversation (Something about the lack of range) but I'm not really sure, it could just be déjà vu... I'm just going to agree that TLW will most likely always be popular and that what I said about RoF affecting their decisions with bloom was wrong.
