[b][u]Infiltration 3[/u][/b]
[b][i]The burst, some pale shades and the two twilight sorcerers are all that's left of the infiltration team. They sit in the hallway where Tubbs had begun his assault for revenge. But now, he was dead. And so were the kage. Shadow waits with them, and the Wyvern flies into view. The nameless King jumps through the hole along with The legate and a small boy....hopefully he's more then what he looks like.[/i][/b]
King: "Hmmmmm. So this is our team. It shall be enough to vanquish our enemies. Now, this is the plan. We will push through the castle and make our way downstairs towards the castle gate. The princess has told me that it is computer operated. So we will need someone to hack the system in order to open it. Either way, I have full confidence in our capabilities that we will be able to do this. Are you all ready?"

[spoiler]THANK GOD SOMEONE REPLIED[/spoiler] Burst: "'Mmmm. Fancy...! Let's move then. When your ready we'll continue this fun adventure!" [b]The burst says that with a smile as the king looks at we strangely.[/b] King: "I would not say loosing an entire species of people to this war is fun..."

"Bah, wouldn't be a true war if a species or two wasn't wiped out." *Shadow grins darkly as she looks at Burst* "Now, lead me to the tower."

*Shadow grins wider, showing her pointed teeth* "So we are going door knocking? How fun."

King: "Indeed...let's move." [b]The infiltration leaves the hallway and makes their way down a long spiral staircase. There they reach the main floor. As they leave another hallway they enter the main entrance. Which has hundreds of shadow beasts ready at the door.[/b] Burst: "Well. Shall we go in there and have some fun? Or make this a little More tactical...?" >Guns a blazing! >Sneaky sneaky sneaky!

[spoiler]Hehehehehe.[/spoiler] *Shadow smirks* "I have this. I need to recharge anyways." *She slips into the shadows, stepping out cloaked on wall above the large door. She silently cackles as she unleashes her aura and opens the shadows to her subjects. The shadows grow deeper and darker, swelling to cover the area in darkness. Un-earthly screams are heard as the denizens of the deep come forth to drag the living twilight beasts down into the depths of the Night. Cold seeps into the bones of all but the Unseeile as the screams of the beasts are heard as they perish. Shadow slowly retracts her aura, fighting her nature to consume all the living creatures in the area. The influx of energy her subjects flooded her with was no help, but within a few minutes she finally allowed herself to leap down to the empty floor and look at Blast with pitch-black eyes* "Now where?"

[b]The burst looks at shadow. She seems rather...calm. Considering what she saw.[/b] "Mmmmmm. That was good." King: "Well then. That takes care of the beasts. Shadow, get to that computer there and open the gate." [b]The computer resides by the door, on the wall. The entrance is incredibly empty but their are many doors around the entrance branching too different parts of the castle.[/b]

*Shadow doesn't reply, simply walking over to the terminal and placing her hand on it. A brief spark leaps across her fingers to the screen, then she smirks* "Just the main doors open?"

King: "Yes just the-" [b]The system knows what's happening. And it's screen flashes red. Incredibly advanced firewalls come up and begin to fight against whatever shadow is doing to keep her from opening the doors. Screams of beasts and yelling of men echo through the castles.[/b] Pale shade: "Shades. Cover each door." [b]There are nine doors in the entrance, and each shade moves to defend it. The burst sends her drones up to assist. The king stays by shadow, his lance sparking to life with lightning.[/b] King: "I think they know we are here..."

"Good. Wouldn't be good guests if they didn't." [b][i]Within the Terminal:[/i][/b] [b]The AI known as Mother was suitably impressed. The barbaric organics actually had somewhat un-embarrassingly good firewalls. They were even made in trinary!! Oh, a challenge for most this would be, bo doubt. That is, if Mother wasn't quintinary-coded. Her near-omnipotence in cyberspace was unrivaled by all. A simple flaw in the coding saw the firewalls bypassed altogether, leaving the heart of the system bared to her. A savage twist saw the coding bent to her cybernetic will, the controls to the main gate were activated, the mammoth barriers slowly receding. Another line of code sent into the system was processed as she leapt back into the crystal-latticework of Shadow's suit.[/b] [u]Done. I left a parting gift for later...[/u] [b][i]Outside:[/i][/b] *Shadow cackles with glee as Mother returns within a minute of her accessing the terminal. She almost breaks down into full-blown giggles as she listens to Mother's message.* "Oh boy... This should be fun."

[b]Suddenly the door goes into lockdown. And more firewalls come up on the screen. 8 sets of steel bars come over the doors as shadow beasts begin to attack the pale shades from each door.[/b] [i]"Hello. I am Dea. Castle Dusks A.I. Who was the bitch who tried to hack me? I'd like them to try again."[/i] [b]This is a fully self aware A.I it seems...[/b]

"Damn it Profligate! You women always -blam!- things up!" [b]The Legate pulls out his sword, and begins to wail on the beasts closest to him. He then falls back, puts the sword away, and begins to attack them with his ballistic fist. The enemies killed by this weapon explode into piles of viscera.[/b] [spoiler]I really don't like RPing the sexist part of the Legion. Makes me seem like a dick.[/spoiler]

[b]Shadow(sorry for character jacking twig) uploads mother back to the system, and she gets to work. The pale shades are torn apart, and each one has its head ripped off its body as the beasts swarm in. [/b]

[spoiler]Quintinary code- 5 characters Binary- 2 characters. Mother is light-years away from binary code. I made this castle have trinary just so that it wouldn't be so bad of a fight. That still leaves 2 more levels of information that Mother has over the AI. Lololol, computer trolling.[/spoiler] [b]Mother, now back in, gives off the cybernetic equivalent of a smirk as she watches the 8-standard AI try to block her out.[/b] [u]Fascinating. Activate Protocol Imperious.[/u] [b]With a single line of code that cuts through the firewalls, the embedded code from earlier activates. Full Override Access is given to Mother. She then subverts the AI to her command, having her actively attack the twilight with the internal defense systems. She then continues the process of opening the doors.[/b] [spoiler]I can't remember the name of the guy, but AI intelligences are rated from 1-10, 10 being the smartest. Then there are standard AIs and Smart AIs. Smart AIs can adapt(modify their own code), standard can't. Mother would be classified as a 15+ Smart.[/spoiler]

[b]The virus is deleted within seconds, the sub-routines easily defeating the ancient program's attack.[/b] "What's taking her so long? Is she uploading some porn?" [u]Shut up.[/u]

[spoiler]who said it was ancient?[/spoiler] [b]What mother didn't realize that as she deleted the virus, Dea put up thousands of individual fire walls now adapted to her attack. [/b]

[u]Ok. I'm pissed.[/u] [b]Mother does a clean wipe. She deletes the entire system, down to the basic controls. The AI is wiped, the firewalls are wiped, even the porn Mother was secretly uploading was deleted.[/b] "Wait, you actually-" [u]Shut. Up.[/u] [b]Mother then triggered the basic controls for the gate to open.[/b] [spoiler]CLEAN WIPE!!! Yes, it is a thing.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]You resulted to that solution way easier then I liked you to have.[/spoiler] [b]The security lockdown disengages, but sparks fly from the castle door. It tries to open, but it cannot. It seems that the beasts purposely damaged the gate. It has to be taken down by other means.[/b] [spoiler]This is on you! Now everyone has to try and bash the door down. Good luck. Because it won't happen in a single reply.[/spoiler]

[b]Mother returns to Shadow.[/b] "Alright, now to get the damn door open." *She walks over and knocks on it while listening to it*

[b]Since it's the castle door, the only thing outside it is the raging battle. A bullet flies into shadows shoulder from behind, reminding her that she's being attacked.[/b]

*The round glances off of her armor, but she takes notice none-the-less* "Oi!!! I'm working here." *Setting up a basic shield around her she begins to work, feeling the resonance the giant gate exists at. A simple frequency begins from Shadow's manifested aura, making the door begin to shake*

[b]It seems to do more and more damage. And the army on the other side is also doing damage to the door.[/b]
