Main Army 27
The castle begins to charge a massive beam(*cough*infiltrationgetherenow). The army is at 700 steps and making fast progress. The Khalosh are continuing to be ripped apart by the beasts. And some soldiers begin to run from the battle. BUT. The nameless kings Wyverns fly into battle. Picking beasts up and throwing them off the mountain. The Iron and Icory armies both continue to meet heavy resistance as the Drangelic forces continue their flank.

*The Marines arrive at the battle with a roar. 44 fully-armored and battle-hardened berserkers crash into the battlefield like a meteor impact, bodies flying. Their Rails make mince-meat of foes from a distance while the beasts are shredded by mass rifle fire at close range. Anything that gets within a 3 meter range is cut to pieces by force-blades. Captain Mitchell leads the way forwards with the Genellian Battle-Cry.* "FOR THE QUEEN!!! FOR THE LONG NIGHT!!!"
-
The beasts stop focusing their attention on the nights and Khalosh as they solely focus on the marines. Thousands of beasts crawl over each other to reach their foe.
-
*The Lightning Rails did as advertised. Each shot bulldozed through dozens of beasts the long way, the total count leaving hundreds of beasts dead with each volley. The massed numbers did not have an insignificant effect on the Marines, however. With each beast cut down by rifle fire was another body in the way of the living. The Marines in the back began to launch singularity grenades over the heads of their allies, each one collapsing space and matter into a single point with a thunder-clap, clearing the dead as well as the living. The Art of War was the equivalent of a religious text in Genellian.*
Damn that's some fine poetry
The beasts continued to run at the marines like an endless black ocean. They began to jump in an attempt to break their formation.
-
*The Marines, in their time-dilated perception, noted the slow-motion jumps. Half subtly adjusted their rifles to fire upwards, then the mental pulse took care of the rest. The only things that got past the line were body parts.*

Missile fire began to unload on the marines from the castle. As automatic turrets also worked to defeat them.
