Forza Horizon 3 went Gold and Turn 10 and Playground had a nice surprise waiting.
Forza Horizon 3 is going to release on September 30th. I, for one, am very excited.
For their "going gold" video, they announced that they would be featuring the Warthog from Halo in Horizon 3. Looking at Horizon's terrain, this will be a very fun vehicle to drive. I am ecstatic to try the newest iteration of Forza.
I also heard something funny, while we're on the topic. Gran Turismo Sport, GT's newest iteration after 5 years, announced that it will be delayed. Let's think about this for a second; GT, which hasn't released a game in 4 years (6 or 7 if you count a release on the most recent gen), just delayed their newest game until 2017 on the same day that Forza, who has gotten in a habit of releasing a game every year since 2012, announced they are going Gold on Forza Horizon 3. Go figure.
Back on topic, [b]what do you all think of Horizon 3?[/b] I'm excited and it's been getting some very good press and hype, Turn 10 and Playground have yet to disappoint.

4 RepliesI'm a big Forza fan, but there were a few things that really bugged me about Horizon. It was too arcadey for me honestly, but what was the real issue was when I was in a race in a Ferrari or Lamborghini and they had me in a race driving through a field! In a car in a field you couldn't do first person view either because the bushes or crops were to tall to see over. Hopefully they remedy this for Horizon 3, and keep races appropriate for the vehicles. Off-road races are awesome, but awesome for off-road vehicles. The open world concept is cool and I do like that they are incorporating co-op for the story mode, but I still have racing to complete for Forza 6 and the new Dirt Rally game which I just bought and haven't even started yet. So no Horizon 3 for me, but I will probably get the backwards compatible Horizon 1.

4 RepliesNever really cared for forza. I played need for speed most wanted (the first one) and loved, also the last racing game I've played. I've been wanting to play another racing game instead of replaying most wanted, again. This looks interesting though. I have an xbox one and want to increase its library with games i cant get on my ps4. I just might pick this game up. [spoiler]On a side note, Microsofts obsession with Halo is getting kinda out of hand / annoying. I feel like they milk the shıt out of it because of how well it did. I mean they named their voice assistant Cortana, if you take a XB1 S apart you'll find a spartan hidden inside like an easter egg, and putting Halo in their exclusives like Fable 2 for example and now Forza. I used to love Halo till 343 took over. Halo 4 was ok, Halo 5 to me felt like it got better and worse at the same time. I still like Halo, i mean i bought a damn Xbox One just for MCC and Halo 5, but Microsoft has some major attachment issues with their own franchise. TL;DR Microsoft is way too obsessed with Halo Makes me think, what would Microsoft and Xbox be today without Halo..[/spoiler]

I'm so excited for this game, especially since I'm getting the xbox one s with HDR. It's going to look beautiful. The warthog is a cool addition too.
