Just take fireteam leader. Teams matchmake to fire team leader.

no... they don't it is based on overall team ELO... I have been in fireteams similar to the OP and taken lead and it didn't change anything. All but be in the group were 1.0+ K/D me being sub 1.0 and still had a hard time getting 3-4 kills a match.

If anything they base it off K/D KA/D Combat Rating

If you mean that it uses the skill of the fireteam leader then that's not true I have been in fireteams of 3 or 4 players where we have been evenly matched against opponents for hours. One person joins (a guy way better than the rest of us) and suddenly there is a step up in the skill level of our opponents. There has been no change in fireteam leader, but we face tougher opponents. This isn't just a one-off case. This happens whenever this guy joins us and will continue for every match he's there

This was where someone with a kd >> 2 joins a fireteam of average / below average players. There is a noticeable change in the skill level of opponents Nothing else changes apart from him joining the game In games when he's not there I have seen a consistent difference in opponents by changing fireteam leader

All I know is that whenever I matchmake with friends as fireteam leaders, it never goes very well.
